Christ Church building will be open during the day every day with space for memory and prayers for the life of Queen Elizabeth II and the new King, Charles III. 

There will be a memorial book where you can write thoughts, memory’s and prayers for Elizabeth II, her family, nation and commonwealth. 

Video tributes have been made to Her Late Majesty The Queen by The Rt Revd Dr Pete Wilcox, Bishop of Sheffield and The Rt Revd Sophie Jelley, Bishop of Doncaster.

In his tribute Bishop Pete speaks of the "selfless humility and great dignity" of her service, whilst Bishop Sophie remembers with thanksgiving her "steadfast love and trust in her Lord Jesus Christ".

Sheffield CathedralSunday 18 September – 6pm
His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire together with the Dean and Chapter of Sheffield Cathedral invite everyone to this service of commemoration and thanksgiving for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Sung by the Cathedral Choir, this service will pay tribute to the life of Queen Elizabeth II. Seats are limited and there will be no reserved seating. Please arrive in good time.

The service will also be shown on a big screen on the Cathedral forecourt and live streamed on the Sheffield Cathedral YouTube channel.
