Community Coffee Morning

Welcome to the Church of the Good Shepherd! The best way to get a feel for the church is to join us on a Sunday.

We meet together every Sunday at 11:00am for a relaxed and informal service, with tea and coffee served from 10:30!

Each service has a focus on learning more about the God of the Bible, His Son Jesus Christ and how his word is still so relevant and life-changing in a 21st Century world.

Each service caters for all ages and all the family. We all meet together for the first 15-minutes then children go to their groups whilst the adults have a talk based on the day’s Bible reading. Our music includes both traditional hymns and more modern songs.

Our service usually lasts 1hr15-mins with a chance for a cup of tea and coffee afterwards.

Messy Church is a new type of church for families
At the heart of it are three things – family, faith and food – for all the community and all the family.*

Based at Barnby Dun Parish Hall (DN3 1DA), our hope is that loads of the community will come along to give it a try, have an amazing time and hear more about the good news Jesus has for our communities.

Each month we have a different theme, as we dig into the bible and learn more about God’s amazing rescue plan for our world!

You can expect lots of:
* fun and games
* crafts
* interactive bible teaching
* songs and music
* sandwich tea

Come and see what it’s all about at 3pm on the 2nd Saturday of each month – we’d love to see you there!

*Children of all ages are welcome but they must be accompanied by a growunup.

**Messy Church is organised and run by a partnership between the Church of St Peter & St Paul (Barnby Dun) and the Church of the Good Shepherd (Kirk Sandall & Edenthorpe)
