Our baby & toddler group called 'Little Lambs' is completely free, open to everyone in our community, and will run every Friday in term time from 9-11am.
There's tea, coffee and snacks, free play and fun, bible stories and songs, and much more!

Our monthly extravaganza with songs, challenges, puppets, interactive bible teaching, coffee, crafts and more! It's great for all ages and all the family.

Welcome to the Church of the Good Shepherd! The best way to get a feel for the church is to join us on a Sunday.

We meet together every Sunday at 11:00am for a relaxed and informal service, with tea and coffee served from 10:30!

Each service has a focus on learning more about the God of the Bible, His Son Jesus Christ and how his word is still so relevant and life-changing in a 21st Century world.

Each service caters for all ages and all the family. We all meet together for the first 15-minutes then children go to their groups whilst the adults have a talk based on the day’s Bible reading. Our music includes both traditional hymns and more modern songs.

Our service usually lasts 1hr15-mins with a chance for a cup of tea and coffee afterwards.

In Colossians Paul writes: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Paul’s reminder is that discipleship is at the heart of the Christian life. It’s to be the normal pattern for every believer, and many people have found meeting in people’s homes a vital – and wonderful – part of that.

Very simply, our Growth Groups are a chance to dig deeper into the passage that was preached on Sunday and spend time chatting through the ways it might apply to each of us. There’s also a dedicated time of prayer, helping us to get to know and care well for each other. Simply put, they’re the hubs of our pastoral care!

Groups meet on different days/times on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd weeks of each month (except school holidays). We’ll then gather together on the 4th week for our Church Family Prayer meeting.

Church Together is a new type of church for families in Kirk Sandall & Edenthorpe!

It’s all about 3 things: friends, faith & fun, with games and crafts, interactive Bible teaching, songs, music and more.

Every Tuesday in term-time

2:45-3:15 // drop-in drinks for parents & carers

3:15-4:00 // cafe church for 3-11’s and their families

Church Together is deliberately low-key and informal so don’t worry if you’re not used to “churchy things.”

We hope everyone will be able to have some fun, and see why Jesus is the best news in the world.

As well as being informal, things will be really interactive. There will be a chance to chat, ask questions, get creative and more. We’ll also have loads of group-time rather than all being led from the front.
