Andrew told the story of Kind David when he fought the giant Goliath as a young boy, using a life size model of Goliath to make the story come to life. We celebrated and thanked their leaders, who give so generously of their time and love, and applauded the children as they got to process with their standards flying. And both leaders and scouts renewed their promises to serve King Charles- it was a real privilege to host them all and their families for this important day.
We set up Stations of the Cross, a means of journeying through the stages of Jesus last journey before death, taking time to enter into the meaning and experience using beautiful posters by Siegar Koder - a really powerful series of paintings that don't shy away from the devastation and horror of that last journey. See the attached photos to get a flavour of the experience.
