Accessibility
The church has no parking spaces but blue badge holders may park in the surrounding streets.
Step-free and push-pad access is available via the north door, which is reached from Hyde Church Path (not the church drive).
Drop off at the top of King Alfred Place at the entrance to the church drive. Hyde Church Path (leading to the step-free access) begins to the left of the drive entrance.
Gluten-free communion wafers are always available (please advise the steward on arrival), as are gluten-free biscuits for the refreshments after the services.
The nearest public parking is in River Park Car Park or Worthy Lane Car Park, both just a few minutes' walk away.
Our newsletters and service sheets are all available in large print.

We have a wonderful Hill organ that is played for most of our services.
Groups, Courses and Activities
We normally run study courses in Lent and in the autumn - please see our newsletter and website for details.
Join us in St Bartholomew's Church on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10.30am for coffee and a friendly chat.
Working closely with Hyde900 we hold an annual celebration of King Alfred every year on the weekend nearest to 26th October, the anniversary of his death.
Our Christmas Fair is usually on the last Saturday of November.
Little Wrigglers is a friendly and relaxed group for babies, toddlers and their parents/carers, meeting every Wednesday in term-time, 10am-11.30am.

Self-guided tour leaflets are available in the church when it is open to visitors.
The church is open for private prayer and visits every Saturday from 10am-1pm.
Dogs are welcome in the churchyard but please pick up after them and take the bag away for disposal.
Other Features
St Bartholomew's Church stands on numerous pilgrim routes and in particular is the starting point of the Winchester to Southampton leg of the St James Way, and a significant point on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. We love to welcome pilgrims, so if you are unable to visit when the church is open (Saturdays 10am-1pm), please contact the office and we will do all we can to open up for you and stamp your pilgrim passport.
