Church of England Diocese of York St. John Newland, Hull

St John, Newland, Hull

Welcome in the name of Jesus Christ to St John, the Parish Church serving Newland, in the City of Hull.

Join us for worship this and every Sunday at half past ten in the morning - all are welcome.

Our parish follows the west bank of the River Hull on one side and includes most of the campus of Hull University on the other, skirting around Orchard Park and taking in the village of Dunswell to the north.

We're proud to work and worship with Newland St John's Church of England Primary Academy, whose grounds back on to the church.

We are part of the Diocese of York, the Church of England from the Humber to the Tees and from the Yorkshire coast to the A1, led by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, and in the care of the Bishop of Hull, Alison White.
