A Warm Invitation

You are warmly invited to come and meet our new Vicar Tina Parry at St Paternus on Saturday 11th October, from 10am to 3pm; a day of celebration which also coincides with our annual Gift Day.

St Paternus stands at the heart of village life, not only on Sundays but throughout the week. It welcomes our schoolchildren, hosts the Royal British Legion, provides space for concerts and community events, and remains a place of quiet prayer and hospitality whenever its doors are open. All of this, along with the care of our historic building, comes at a significant cost.

Gift Day is a special opportunity to support the life and upkeep of our church, ensuring it can continue to serve the community in so many ways. Whether you joined us at the Licensing service or simply wish to drop by and say hello, you will be most warmly welcomed.

We look forward to seeing you for a complimentary cream tea whilst browsing the children’s toy swop shop or the bookstall. There will also be an opportunity to bring some of your preloved items to put on the bring and buy stall.
