Easter at St Paternus

Easter 2026 at St Paternus (1).pdf Download

Easter is by far the most important celebration in the Christian calendar. Jesus Christ rose from the dead after being savagely crucified on the cross. This event marked the beginning of the Christian faith we follow still to this day.

Saturday evening saw a well supported Easter Sundown service, with a good number of young people in attendance. A lovely service lead by Revd Tina was preceded by an Easter Egg Hunt and a round of delicious hot dogs!

On Easter Sunday we celebrated Holy Communion in a fine service lead by Revd Jess and it was good to see so many fresh faces in attendance.

Attached is a collage of flower displays which so beautifully decorated our church. Additionally, the collage includes a picture of each of the Easter Gardens so well assembled by the younger members of our congregation. You are most welcome to download and print this attachment.
