Cities towns and villages are falling, suffering almost total destruction, in the face of Russian bombardment. Hundreds of thousands have lost their homes, tens of thousands have lost their lives, many more are suffering from horrible, life changing injuries, millions have fled the country. Ukraine and its people need our help more than ever. PLEASE DON'T FORGET THEM.

CORNWALL & DEVON SENDING LOVE TO UKRAINE

In the first days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine a convoy of nine vans was assembled, laden with urgently needed items for the people of this now war-torn country, all generously donated by people from Devon and Cornwall, with volunteers collecting, sorting and loading and supported by local businesses, organisations and charities who have given generous financial support plus the loan of storage space. In the early hours of Sunday 6th March, nine vans set off in that first convoy.
The group works closely with contacts on the Poland/Ukraine border to take targeted aid and supplies. They say what they need, and the group tries to deliver. THREE convoy runs (a total of 30 vans and 45 tonnes of aid) have now been completed and the group is so grateful to everyone who has joined this worthy cause.
