From this September new hours, activities and new choices in food. We have the same quality of coffee, just a new look and it’s still made with loving care and served with a smile.

TLC Community Cafe is a ‘not for profit’ social enterprise run by Lofthouse Church for the benefit of the local community. All the money raised is ploughed back into church funds to help preserve our wonderful building and worship space for the community.

Lofthouse Parish Church

Welcome to Christ Church, Lofthouse. We serve four distinct villages between Leeds and Wakefield - Lofthouse, Carlton, Robin Hood and Thorpe. 

We are a friendly and loving church for everyone. Our church is working to encourage transformation individually, locally and globally through a growing awareness of God’s grace.

We gather for worship each Sunday:

1st Sunday: Parish Communion at 9:30am

2nd Sunday: Grace Space - Service of the Word at 9:30am

3rd Sunday: Parish Communion at 9:30am

* 4th Sunday: Common Ground - Faith at 4 - 4pm

5th Sunday: Said Eucharist at 9:30am

We gather for midweek worship each Wednesday:

Said Eucharist at 10am

* We have moved to a 4pm service every 4th Sunday

27th September - Evening Prayer

25th October - Healing and Wholeness

22nd November - Christ Church Patronal Service


TLC Community Cafe is a ‘not for profit’ social enterprise run by Lofthouse Church for the benefit of the local community. We offer a warm, friendly space for all. 

Monday - Thursday - 9-12pm

Come and join us for Tea, Coffee and Cake. 

Indoor Curling Cafe (suitable for all abilities) every Monday 1:30pm-3:30pm - No booking - £1 per player. TLC will be open for refreshments.

Crafty Friends - Tuesday (fortnightly) - 9-12pm - ask in TLC for more details

New G2H Bereavement Support Cafe - 10:30 - 12pm - A friendly place to meet, talk and remember. A relaxed and welcoming space for anyone who has been affected by bereavement. Come along for a cuppa, conversation and support. You do not have to talk about your grief - Just come as you are. Everyone is welcome.

Games cafe, We have an extensive range of board games, jigsaws or bring your own every Thursday 9am-12pm - No booking.
