It is a real delight that Revd Lisa Senior was licensed this afternoon by Bishop Arun Arora as Interim Team Vicar for 1 year at Woodlesford Parish Hall.

Revd Lisa will serve here in the Benefice of Rothwell, Lofthouse, Methley with Mickletown, and Oulton with Woodlesford. Thanks to Bishop Arun for a wonderful service and to all who attended and those made it happen.

We are delighted that Lisa will join us to help us in the transition for one year as we work out a new pattern of ministry for our four parishes with two full time clergy instead of three from April 2025. Lisa’s ministry will be based in Oulton and Methley. Over the coming year we’ll all reflect, pray and work out a new pattern of ministry and pastoral responsibilities for our benefice when Lisa leaves in a years time. There’ll be no replacement for Lisa and it cannot be extended. Our prayers for Lisa as she joins us today. Lisa will commute as her husband Patrick is Vicar in Gildersome.
