Churchyard Group

Weather permitting we have a group of friendly volunteers who meet Saturday mornings to help maintain the churchyard, grass cutting, weeding and maintaining paths. Our team also leave areas of the churchyard unmown to create native species meadows and encourage wildlife. We have also installed bird and bat boxes in various locations, and bug hotels.

We took part in the Big Butterfly Count 2023. For results follow the Butterfly Conservation link below.

The churchyard is also registered with Butterfly Conservation Wild Spaces  https://wild-spaces.co.uk/wild-space/?wildSpace=21766153&wildSpaceType=community-space

We post notices on social media for the dates the group meet. For more information please message Peter Bloodworth via Get in touch on our website.
