Friends,
As we come to this special day of celebration we are reminded that it meets us in ordinary places, it meets us where we are ...in tired hearts, in lives that haven’t quite gone to plan, in questions that still don’t have neat answers. And it speaks a simple, stubborn truth: life is stronger than death, hope is stronger than fear, and love will not stay buried.
The first witnesses to the resurrection didn’t arrive with confidence or certainty. They came with grief, with spices, with endings in their hands. And yet, there in the place of loss, they were met with something they never expected—an empty tomb, and the beginning of something new.
That is the promise of Easter. Not that life suddenly becomes easy or clear, but that even in the places we think are finished, God is still at work. Still bringing life. Still calling us forward.
So, whatever this season holds for you—joy or weariness, faith or doubt—Easter meets you there. And gently, quietly, it invites you to believe that new life is possible. Thank you for allowing me to celebrate my first Easter with you.
Christ is risen. And because of that, nothing is beyond hope.
Wishing you a joyful and hope-filled Easter.
