Sandon Fete Committee held a cheque presentation evening on the 7th November. Due to the fantastic amount we raised, we were able to donate £8,200 to our chosen charities.
Sandon and Burston Parish Council have been advised that “Sandon Gate” is the new name for the Bloor Homes Beaconside housing development in Stafford. The Parish Council have asked them to rethink the name of the development. Please read on:-
The members of Sandon WI will be enjoying their Christmas meal at the Greyhound in Burston on 10th December so there will be no meeting in the Parish Room in December.
On the 29th January we are starting our monthly Poppy Knit and Natter group at the Greyhound Inn in Burston. We will meet at 1-30pm until 3-00pm on the 4th Thursday of each month.
