There was plenty of knitting and nattering at the Greyhound Inn at Burston for the first meeting of our newly formed group in January. The aim is to have a thousand poppies to display at All Saints’ Church as part of the thousand-year celebrations.

Each time there is a delivery of Compass Magazines for the Mid-Trent churches from the printers, I receive a phone call to come and collect the 190 magazines to be delivered in the Sandon and Burston area.
