Christian worship has taken place here since Saxon times and continues to draw pilgrims today on the Two Saints Way. Dedicated to St Peter ad Vincula (St Peter in Chains), Stoke Minster is the civic church for the City of Stoke-on-Trent and reflects the rich history of the Potteries.

Service of Commemoration for our late Sovereign Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II

To commemorate the life of our late Sovereign Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II, there will be a special Church service at Stoke Minster on Sunday 18 September from 6:30 pm.
The service will last one hour and be led by the Rector of Stoke, Canon Andrew Wickens before attendees will disperse to Stoke Cenotaph on Kingsway to observe the National Moment of Reflection at 8pm.
All are welcome to attend. Doors open from 5.30 pm and all are requested to be seated by 6.15 pm.
