The Government has announced that Stoke-on-Trent has moved to the high COVID alert level (Tier 2) from Saturday 24 October. The City Council has advised on various measures (see below) however, public worship can continue. At the Minster church we have put in place various measures so that we are COVID-secure. Hence, services (on Sundays at 10.30 am and Wednesdays at 1.00 pm) will be continuing as before.
The new restrictions mean:
People must not meet with anybody outside their household or support bubble in any indoor setting, whether at home or in a public place;
People must not meet in a group of more than 6 outside, including in a garden or other space; and
People should aim to reduce the number of journeys they make where possible. If they need to travel, they should walk or cycle where possible, or plan ahead and avoid busy times and routes on public transport.
