Welcome to the parish church of St Peter, Cowfold in the Diocese of Chichester. We are a friendly and welcoming church linked with Holy Trinity in Lower Beeding and St John's, Coolhurst. The church building dates back to the 13th century and has many interesting features including some ancient stained glass windows and a brass to Thomas Nelond from the Priory of Lewes.
We are delighted to announce that in-person worship has resumed with effect from 28th March 2021. Services will continue to be live-streamed from Holy Trinity, Lower Beeding and broadcast on Facebook Lower Beeding Parish at 10am every Sunday for those who prefer to watch from home.
The church is currently open for visitors and private prayer all day every Wednesday. Readings and a sermon are circulated by email each week. Please contact [email protected] to be added to the distribution list.
