St Nicholas Church will be open most weekends between 10 am and 4pm during the summer months. 

St Nicholas Church welcomes you to worship on Sundays at 11am

However, please note that the 3rd Sunday in September, October and November there will not be a service in church but Messy Church will be held in St Nicholas School in Hurst.  All welcome!!  (See 'Messy Church' via the sidebar for more details.)

Special services and Events

St Nicholas Church is part of the Benefice & LEP of St Mary's and URC, Twyford and St James', Ruscombe.   In view of this we hold Benefice services throughout the year.  Details of these services during August are below:

11th August 2019 at 10.30am  - Service to be held at St Mary's Church, Twyford.  (Note different start time) 

18th August 2019 at 11.00 am - Service at St Nicholas Church, Hurst.

25th August 2019 at 10.30 am - Service at Twyford URC.  (Note different start time)

10.45 am Sunday, 10th November 2019 - Remembrance Service with Royal British Legion and uniformed groups

11am - 3pm Saturday, 30th November 2019 - Church Christmas Fayre at Hurst Village Hall

If access to the church is required outside of service times please contact a Churchwarden (contact details on Church notice board) or the Church Office to arrange date/time to visit.
