This week at St Edward's Church Romford, we celebrated with the fabulous Elfan and Gill - who celebrated their 60 year anniversary. They bought with them their lovely card from the King and Queen, and we celebrated them with a glass or two and some cake.Many many congratulations and thank you for allowing us to share your special day! News from a familiar face! The Venerable Mike Power will be installed as the Archdeacon of West Ham in a service on 5th October at Chelmsford Cathedral. All are welcome. Father Mike was our vicar for a number of years here, at St Edwards. A massive congratulations to James and our fabulous Parish Administrator Angela, who successfully jumped out of a plane this weekend. They raised £1600 for Lennox Children's Cancer Fund one of the key charities that we support here at St Edward’s Church.Well done both! We are so proud of you! On the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, we are thinking ahead to Remembrance Sunday. As a feature of the Market Place, we are keen that the church really marks this occasion. We are looking for community members or parishioners to help us in pulling together a display like the ones below. Can you help at all?
