Our Building

Music and Worship

The 9:30 Sunday Sung Mass is accompanied by an accomplished organist who plays an organ voluntary at the end of the Mass.
St Barnabas is a favourite venue for the ABRSM Exams because of its very good acoustics.

In 1946 an organ was purchased from a bombed out church in Walthamstow. It was rebuilt and was used until 1968 when it came to the end of its useful life. Its parts were used to build the present organ. A separate console was added with two manuals and radial pedals. The tracker was replaced with the electro-pneumatic action.

The BCP is used in our 8:00 am Morning Prayer and 6:00 pm Evening Prayers daily.
