St George's Church Hanworth

Greetings and a very warm welcome to you.

St George's Hanworth is a Church of England parish in the catholic tradition and our mission is to make the love of Christ known through excellence of worship, and active care and concern for others.

Our history begins in Saxon times and our community has built, loved, and cared for this church for more than 1200 years.

In April 2026, the PCC made the decision to accept and affirm the ministry of women, rescinding the previous resolution, and the church now comes under the care and leadership of the Bishop of Kensington.

Everyone is welcome at St George's. We meet at 10am every Sunday morning for our Communion Service. Afterwards, there is always time to chat over coffee and cake in the West Gallery.

Do have a look at our Services and Events page to see what else is going on.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
