There are three ancient churches serving the rural community of under a thousand people. Our three churches offer styles of worship which range from Book of Common Prayer to Common Worship. We are part of the Ripon Area and have extended episcopal care from the Bishop of Beverley.

We are the most rural of our three church communities, located between the two hamlets of Broughton and Elslack. Our peaceful setting is reflected in our regular worship centred around the Eucharist. All Saints’ comes into its own on a sunny evening, with the curlews calling and the huge beech trees rustling in the breeze. It is a breathtakingly beautiful sacred place. Come and see for yourself.

We are a community literally at the centre of the country! Our church is a few yards off the Pennine Way (the spine of England) where it crosses the Leeds–Liverpool Canal (crossing the middle of Britain).
As well as our regular Sunday worship, centred around the Eucharist, we are open every day and you are always welcome to step out of the busy world and step in to the stillness of our church and spend time in stillness of our church and enjoy some quiet reflection.
