St Julian's raises money by means of its long-running 100 Club. A number costs £2 a month, £24 a year, and you can buy more than one. Around the first Sunday of every month there is a draw after the morning service, where three lucky numbers are drawn from the bag. First prize is £20, second £10 and third, £5. Contact Joanna or the treasurer for further information.
If you are interested in being Baptised or Confirmed please speak to Sherine. Perhaps it's something you've never quite got round to doing, or something that you've wondered about. We shall be running a 4 week course before a service including Baptisms and Confirmations at St Albans Cathedral at 6pm on 4th April as part of the Easter celebrations. It is a truly wonderful time of year to be Baptised and Confirmed as it marks the beginning of new life as we celebrate our Risen Lord. No prior knowledge is required, the course will be accessible and covering the basics of our faith: prayer, Bible, Baptism and Confirmation as we learn what it means to be Christian together.More details to follow.
