Every year on the Tuesday in Holy Week, the annual pilgrimage crosses our area with the pilgrims walking from Wark via West Woodburn to Elsdon village hall. It continues on Wednesday, up the hill towards Coquetdale, arriving on Good Friday at Holy Island (Lindisfarne).
