BAPTISM (CHRISTENING)

Please contact the vicar - details under 'Get in Touch' to have a brief chat and make an appointment to discuss fully.

Please note - you need to live in the parish or have made a commitment to attend Whitechapel regularly if living outside the parish area. We would normally ask that you attend Whitechapel regularly (if out of area) for 3 months so we can get to know you, before we book in a date for your Baptism or that of your baby or child.

Godparents should already have been baptized. Baptisms take place on set Sundays at 12.30 subject to clergy availability.

For adults seeking Baptism - this is usually followed up as soon as preparation time allows, with CONFIRMATION. Please ask when the next prepartion sessions are for confirmation.
