WEDDINGS

Whitechapel is a beautiful church to get married in.

See Services and events for more details or contact the Vicar to discuss. The most commonly asked question to the Vicar is, "How much does a Church wedding cost?" Answer - not as much as you might think!

MARRIAGES FEES Church of England in 2026 are as follows.

Banns and Certificate - £59

Marriage Service in church - £566

Remember to add in local extras in church such as verger & seasonal heating - prices available on application. If you want music on entry/exit and a couple of hymns you will need to book one of our regular organists - prices on application. We do not use recorded music for weddings at Whitechapel - live music only for the highest quality. Hymn books are also available for the congregation. Using hymn books saves a huge cost of producing Orders and Service if you're on a budget.

Also remember to budget for any flowers you choose to have, bridesmaids dresses and flowers, hair and makeup, cake, official photographer you hire, reception - but these are all extras some couples choose to have and some choose to cut expenses, keep it simple and save the money towards their home and future.
