Night Prayer is a a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. It is perfect for use on Facebook - as it is at it's best..... without additions, conversation or noise. At the close all are encouraged to depart in silence; and go quietly to bed.It's sometimes called Compline.... the word comes from the Latin meaning ‘completion’ (completorium). So, please join us on a Thursday evening - and if you'd like to us to pray for something, then quietly pop it in the comments, the leader may pray for it as part of the service.... or those joining in can join with you quietly in prayer or in their own time. There's a few ways you can find the words to the service! However, you'll probably need more than one gadget or be very good at multitasking! I'll be using the Daily Prayer app on my phone.
