Church of England Diocese of Exeter Plymtree

St John the Baptist

Welcome to the Church of St John the Baptist in Plymtree.  Our church is at the heart of the community.

There are regular Sunday services normally at 9.30am or 11.00am.  These include two Communion services each month as well as Morning Prayer and Family Worship on other Sundays.  Please see the calendar for details of actual services, which are usually based on Common Worship.  One service each month is lay led and the others are normally taken by our Associate Priest, Revd Jane Penn, or the Rector, Revd John Hayhoe.

Everyone is welcome to our services, but we do request people to wear face coverings and to respect other people’s space, by sitting in alternate pews if possible.

The Church building is now open daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm.  You are very welcome to enter the church at those times, but please use sanitiser and wear a face covering, especially if others are present.

Please use our "Get in touch" section if you have any questions or need help or assistance.  (Emails go to the churchwardens)</span>

Safeguarding is an important concern of our parish and Mission Community.  Please select the Safeguarding tab for details of our policy and our contacts.
