Services at St Martin do not take place at regular times as in many churches owing to the number of churches and available clergy. In July: 5th - Evensong at 6pm led by Reverend Caspar. 12th - Patronal Festival Evening Prayer at 6pm led by Reverend Caspar followed by drinks at Old Stone Cottage. 19th - Holy Communion at 9.30. 26th - Family Communion at 10am. In August: 2nd - Evensong at 6pm led by Reverend Caspar.

Taize Service.

This event takes place as a Heritage Open Day. The church will be hosting tours led by a churchwarden, the tower captain, an organist and a local historian. Two tours will take place at 10am and 2pm with stories from the past and the 800 year history of the church. (Heritage Open Days list all events this September on-line. Go to [email protected].)
A cafe will be open in the Village hall from 10am to 4pm for light lunches and teas.

Harvest festival

The harvest service will be held as in previous years outside in the village square - weather permitting. This will be followed by the Harvest supper in the village Hall.
