Weddings, Christenings and Funerals

We would love to help your family mark those most significant moments in life.

As a church of England Church, we are able to marry couples who meet the legal requirements for a church wedding.  This usually involves several meetings with the Rector or another minister, to prepare for your wedding day and to support you for in preparing for married life together.  For more information, contact us, or go to yourchurchwedding.org.

In a Christening service, a child (or an adult) is baptised, and becomes a member of the world-wide Church of God.  It is a special moment for parents, but also for the wider family, and especially recognises the important role that godparents play in a child's life.  We carry out Christenings as a separate service, or as part of our regular Sunday service.  For more information, contact us.

We understand how important it is that the service to celebrate the life of a loved one is personal, and meets the needs of your family.  We can offer a conventional funeral, a memorial service or a service of thanksgiving tailored to your needs.  This might be in conjunction with a committal at the crematorium, or a burial, or as a separate event.
