Church of England Diocese of Rochester St. Martin, Barnehurst

St. Martin's, Barnehurst

Welcome to Saint Martin's - the Parish Church of Barnehurst

Sadly, due to the Corona virus not only have our services been suspended but, to demonstrate the importance of physical distancing in saving lives,  we can no longer open the church for personal prayer. Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but cannot be done in the church building.

Sunday Daily Prayer will be available via email and via Facebook Livestream. Please contact the ministry team for more details.

The parish of Barnehurst: St Martin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

If your Banns were due to be read at St. Martin's then please contact the Vicar or Priest-in-Charge of the parish in which you are to be married.
