Today we welcomed our new vicar, Father Keith Freeman, who conducted his first service at St James at the new Sunday start time of 11.15am.

This followed the special licensing ceremony in church yesterday,  conducted by Bishop Sarah, the acting Bishop of Durham, with the assistance of the Archdeacon and the Area Dean, and in the presence of local clergy, family and friends.

The service was followed by refreshments in the hall, much enjoyed by everyone!
