As the first Thursday of the month is coming up, we will have our regular monthly service of Morning Prayer in church at 9.45am. This is a lovely, relaxed service followed by refreshments.And coming up next Sunday, as well as our normal Eucharist at 11am, there will be Messy Church in the hall on Sunday afternoon.Another date for the diary is our Midsummer Concert with the Argus Singers in the church hall on June 21 at 7pm. The Argus Singers always provide an excellent evening's entertainment. Tickets £8 still available.

We had an amazing response to our coffee morning for Christian Aid on May 18, raising a grand total of £550. Many thanks to all who baked, helped and bought!Next week will be a special service of Morning Prayer in church, compiled and presented by church members who took part in the Wings for Worship course run by Durham Diocese. We are holding a fund-raising Coffee Morning next Saturday, May 18, in the church hall.Come along for home made scones, cakes etc, plus a raffle.All proceeds will go to Christian Aid.The event starts at 10.30am.Then on Sunday we will welcome the Rev Canon Heather Murray to church who will lead our service for Pentecost, starting at the usual Sunday service time of 11am.
