Funerals and memorial services

When someone dies, the parish priest is here to help, whether or not the person who has died was a churchgoer. A funeral is a chance to say goodbye, to give thanks for a life, and to pray for the person who has died.

The service can be held in church, at the graveside or at the crematorium, and it is arranged around the person and the family's wishes. We also hold memorial services, the burial of ashes, and a Requiem Mass where that is preferred. You can arrange everything through your funeral director, or contact the church directly. Please check the date and time with us before they are fixed with the funeral director, so that we can be sure the church and the clergy are free.
