Welcome to St James, Barry Street, Oldham

We are a welcoming Parish Church, serving the area of Derker and Watersheddings in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Our worship is firmly rooted in the Catholic Tradition of the Church of England and we seek to worship God and witness to Christ by gathering week by week to celebrate the Holy Eucharist, the service instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ himself. 

The Parish Mass is celebrated on Sundays at 11:00am. Our midweek Masses are said on Mondays at 7:00pm (Children's Mass) and Thursdays at 10:00am. ALL are welcome. 

Evening Prayer is also said on Mondays at 5:30pm and Morning Prayer is said on Thursdays at 8:30am.

St James is a Parish Church of The Society of SS Wilfrid & Hilda and under the Pastoral & Sacramental Care of the Bishop of Beverley.
