St Andrew's, Droylsden
Welcome to St Andrew's church website!
We describe ourselves as a church that is 'Welcoming All.... Encountering God.... Transforming Lives' and we seek to be a worshipping community who warmly welcome all to join us and take part and where the love of God is encountered and shared with others. We'd love to invite you to come along and become part of our community.
We are re-starting services on Sunday 19th July at 9.15am. There will be social distancing and hygiene measures in place to keep everyone as safe as possible. We have a risk assessment based on the Church of England advice. We will have a reduced capacity and will be placing a limit on the number of people allowed into the building at any one time - currently this is about 20-25 people. Those attending will be asked to wear face coverings when entering and moving around in church.
Each week resources will be posted on this website as well as our Facebook page and Twitter. More resources can be found on the Church of England website, where you will also find information about the how the Church is responding at this time. If you need help, please contact our Vicar, Revd Jo Farnworth on 0161 330 4925.
We meet in a new church building called Church of the Epiphany which we share with Methodist and United Reformed Church congregations.
The parish of Droylsden: St Andrew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
