Serving others

At St Martin's, we want to serve our local communities and people further afield to make the love of God known to all.

We support the Droylsden and District Foodbank which helps local people in crisis. To find out more about the support they offer, please visit their website.

We have a strong relationship with Greenside School, working together to improve our local community.

We offer our building to local community groups, providing space for activities for local people.

Further afield, we support local, national and financial charities by giving away 3% of our income each year.  Each year at Harvest we collect donations of food for the Foodbank and also raise money for various projects, such as buying goats or paying for a water tank in a Uganda village.

We are a Fairtrade church, only serving Fairtrade tea and coffee and using other Fairtrade produce when possible.
