St Mary the Virgin
We are delighted to announce that we are now able to invite you to join us for our Sunday service in our church building once again! 😁 It will be a proper church service, but we will do things differently to ensure we gather together as safely as possible.
First, please sign up to let us know that you would like to come on our website here: https://www.stmaryshg.org.uk/sunday-service-sign-up
As explained, we may not be able to give everyone a place but will allocate places fairly and will confirm if you have got a place on the Friday before the Sunday.
Secondly, please follow the guidelines on our website to gather safely: https://www.stmaryshg.org.uk/sunday-service-sign-up
God-willing, we look forward to seeing soon!
“ For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them”
We are a thriving church which endeavours to meet the needs of the varying groups within our congregation and the wider community by actively living the message of the Gospel.
“You are welcome at my house …. Let me supply whatever you need”.
We recognise the power and need for prayer in all that we do; it underpins each aspect of our church life whether that be within the church services, meetings, home groups or in the wider community.
"The parish of Haughton Green: St Mary the Virgin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
