Armed Forces Day 2026 - Order of proceedings

10.00am Audio and Music to play from 10.00am until 10:30am.
10.05am Mayor and invited guests and councillors to gather from 10.05am by the Garden Kitchen café entrance inside the museum.
10.15am Parade Marshall will lead the procession in front of the Mayor / Consort with Reverend Beynon and Town Clerk. The councillors and guests will then fall in behind them and process toward the entrance of the Museum.
10.20am Parade Marshall will introduce the Mayor. Sharon will welcome all and give a brief speech and thank all for coming and then announce the Flag raising.
10:30 Flag Raised by Ian Jevons (WFDC Amenities Officer)
10.35am Reverend Melissa to deliver service.
Following the service the standard will be lowered.
Audio to play from 10.45/11.00 (after the service is finished)
All invited guests then depart and gather at St Annes for light refreshments.
