St Mary's Church, Marton in the Forest

A beautiful countryside church with a very special and peaceful ambience and wildlife-friendly churchyard.
You may know us for our roadside sign: 'Find Peace & Tranquility Within'.
Marton Church is open daily for personal prayer.

Marton in the Forest is on the road between Stillington and Farlington (YO61 1NH).
Our vicar is the Reverend Steve Whiting.

The parish of St Mary's Marton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Caroline Hunt. The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA (01904 699524) for advice. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police on 999 and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
