St Mary's Church, Marton in the Forest

Come and meet Oonagh, one of our Marton Friends on Sat 19th Sep 2-4pm to see her new display on the history surrounding our Frosterley Marble slab. Tea, coffee and cake available!

Our Labryinth is currently still visible and walkable, thanks to regular mowing. (Please note that the churchyard is quite uneven in places.)

We are now delighted to have joined the 'Small Pilgrim Places Network'.

Marton Church has now been registered as a Pilgrim Place with the organisation 'Faith in the North' (see below). Pilgrim places are welcoming, peaceful, safe spaces which offer time to relax and reflect.
