Thank you everyone who donated goods this year at our Harvest Festival service. Your donations have been taken to the LS26 Community Foodbank in Rothwell. At St. Oswald’s we leave a box in the porch for donations when the church is open Sunday morning/afternoon and Wednesday afternoon. The foodbank in Rothwell is at the Blackburn Hall (please use the rear entrance), Commercial Street, Rothwell, LS26 0AW. Open every Wednesday 10:30am12 noon and 3:00pm to 5:00pm. No referral is needed but a £2 (minimum) contribution at the door.4/10/23
Have you got some in-date seeds that you won’t use and fancy growing something new? Why not pop along to St. Oswald’s where you will find a seed swap box in the porch. You can leave your seeds for someone else to use, and swap for something different. If your seeds are loose and not in a packet there are some small envelopes in the box to put them in. Please use the pen to write on what they are.Church is always open Sunday morning from 10 am-1pm, Sunday and Wednesday afternoon from 2-4pm. 2/9/23
