Wherever you are in life, and whatever your connection to church, St Mary's is here for you at the times that matter most.

A baptism marks the start of a child's - or an adult's - journey of faith, and it's a joyful, personal occasion for the whole family. Anyone can get in touch to ask about having a child baptised at St Mary's; you don't need to be a regular churchgoer. We're happy to talk through what's involved and find a date that works.

Getting married in church is meaningful, personal, and as beautiful as you want it to be. Many couples have a right to marry in a particular parish church, depending on connections such as where they live or worship, or family history with the parish - the rules can be a little more detailed than people expect, so the best first step is simply to get in touch and we'll talk through whether St Mary's is the right fit for you. It's a wonderful, historic setting for it, with nearly 800 years of history in its walls, and we're happy to guide you through dates, banns, and what to expect.

A Church of England funeral is available to everyone in the parish, whether you were a churchgoer or not, and our rector is glad to support you and your family before, during and after the service, for as long as it's needed.
