Visiting & Accessibility
We want everyone to feel able to visit and worship at St Mary's, and we're honest that, as a small medieval rural church, we still have some way to go. Here's what to expect, so you can plan your visit with confidence.Getting here
St Mary the Virgin, Church Road, Horne, Surrey RH6 9LA.What3Words: ///unless.torch.allow
Parking
There is no dedicated car park at the church itself. Parking is available across the road at the nursery. Please take care when crossing, as it's a busy road - allow a little extra time, especially if you're less mobile or have children with you.Step-free access
The church does not currently have permanent step-free access. A ramp is available but needs to be set up by a team member. Please let us know in advance if you or anyone joining you would benefit from it, so we can have it ready for your arrival. We're an old building doing what we can, and we're actively working to improve accessibility.Toilets
There is no toilet at the church itself. A toilet is available across the road at the nursery during service times only.Defibrillator
A defibrillator is located across the road at the nursery.Getting in touch beforehand
If you have any access needs - whether that's the ramp, seating, or anything else - please do get in touch ahead of your visit. We'd much rather know in advance and make sure you're well looked after than have you arrive not certain of what to expect.
