In months with five sundays, there is one service for the whole Benefice on the fifth sunday. Please check the notices to find out which church the Benefice service is taking place at.
Please do not attend if you are unwell. On roughly alternate weeks this service is livestreamed on Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person. On other weeks the 9.30 service from Colegate is available.

Mondays at 12:30 pm Lent course and lunch hosted at St Giles
Lent Course at St Giles-on-the-Hill. A simple lunch will be served at 12.30 pm, with the course itself beginning at 1:00 pm. The themes of the course will be God, Peace, Forgiveness, Silence, and Hope. During Lent we are all encouraged to increase our awareness of God's presence through Christ; this is a fantastic opportunity to deepen our faith and strengthen our fellowship. Please feel free to bring along a friend!

There will be a tri-community service at St Giles, with outdoor procession in Upper St Giles.

This year we are having a tri-community benefice service on Palm Sunday. It will be at St Giles.
The service begins at 10 a.m.
(NB note earlier start).
The service starts with an outdoor procession. Those not able to join the procession should arrive in Church by about 10:15.
Solemn Eucharist of the Last Supper with washing of feet. The service ends (and you are free to go) at around 8 pm. However there will be a procession with the Blessed Sacrament to St Giles on the Hill where it will be placed in the garden of repose, and we shall maintain the watch at the Altar of Repose in St Giles from 8.45 pm until midnight.
Good Friday Liturgy with solemn reading of the passion and veneration of the cross, and communion.
9:00 pm The Burial of the Lord, solemn candlelight service at St George Tombland
A short Easter Vigil service with Blessing of Easter Fire at St George Colegate
Sung Eucharist for Easter Day
NB bring your chocolate eggs or coloured hard boiled eggs for the egg rolling ceremony in the garden
We sing Compline at 9 pm on the first Friday of the month. This is a late night reflective service that draws from the ancient monastic liturgical patrimony, and is followed by a nightcap and some time for fellowship. Please join us!
Friday of the first week of the month.
On the fifth sunday of the month we have a Eucharist that draws all three congregations together at one church. The time depends on which church we are gathering in (9.30, 10.30 or 11 a.m.).
