The archbishops of Canterbury and York have called to make the month of the second national lockdown a month or prayer, with a particular call to fast in a way appropriate to each, every Thursday, and to pray every day at 6pm. A resource can be found on this website, in the 'Services and Events / Calendar' page, everyday, at 6pm, to help you, with a prayer for the nation and another prayer focused on a particular thematic as given by the Church of England. You can find a booklet to download a printable booklet with these prayers clicking here, another booklet with personal prayers cliking here, and the letter of the archbishops clicking here.Image by Myriams-Fotos from Pixabay
From the 1st November to the end of the month, a new daily office is proposed on the website and will be uploaded bit by bit. After looking at the first steps of the Revelation of God and his love through Creation (September) and the Scriptures (October), we will go towards the God's revelation in Christ. This revelation will first be centered on the theme of heaven and readiness for the second coming of Christ, to finish with the celebration of this coming on the 1st Sunday of Advent. We will then go back to the waiting of Christ before his first Coming (Christmas). The readings of this office will be distributed in a 2 weeks cycle; the psalms will be different every day for each office during the month.Image by Free-Photos from Pixabay
