St Faith

Welcome to St Faith's - an Anglican and Methodist church serving the community of Walsworth, to the east of Hitchin.

The main Sunday service is  at 10.00am. This is a service of Holy Communion  lasting around 45 minutes, to which all are welcome. There is a small creche area in church for under 5's. Occasionally, this is a service of Morning Prayer. There is always singing, led by the choir.

Our Carers and Toddlers group, Small Talk. meets on Thursday mornings 9.15am till 11.00am, weekly in term-time. It's very informal and a valued meeting place.

The parish of Hitchin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St Albans’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
