St Mary's Hitchin
St Mary's Hitchin has been a place of worship for over a thousand years. St Mary's is a member of The Inclusive Church Network and all are welcome to our services and events and as visitors.
The parish of Hitchin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
We receive no central funding and our activities depend on the generous giving of our congregation and wider local community. If you are able to support our work with a donation, please follow the 'giving' link on our front page - and thank you.

St Mark's Church
Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, looking to re-connect with church after years away, a Christian who has recently moved to the area, are wanting some activities to occupy the children, or just looking for someone to talk to - we'd love you to make contact with us! All our services are in person, some are also live-streamed.
Our Sunday services typically blend a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with more formal aspects like liturgy and Holy Communion. We sing a mix of hymns and worship songs.
There's no dress code, no need to have experienced church before...just show up as you are, and a Welcomer will let you know what to do (usually it'll just be 'grab a service sheet, and take a comfy seat!').
We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Safeguarding Officers. Further details are on our website.

St Martin's Church
Getting and growing people in relationship with Jesus is our vision!
We believe that Jesus was who he said he was, the Son of God who came and died for our sins. So if this is your first time in church, we hope that get to know Him as we do, because He's truly what life is all about for us!
We care about you and your family and we're here not only to feed you spiritually, but to help in any way we can. We love doing it and it's why we exist and we're all about people. Every person who walks through our doors is important to us.
God bless you!
