Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter that commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It marks the start of Holy Week and is named after the palm branches followers waved and laid in his path, symbolizing victory and peace. It is the final Sunday of Lent.

Compline, or Night Prayer, is the final, contemplative Christian service of the daily office (canonical hours) designed to be said before sleep, marking the "completion" of the day. Originating from 6th-century monastic tradition, this quiet, reflective service includes confession, psalms, hymns, and prayers for protection.
It is our tradition during Holy Week to hold a service of Compline. It is designed to be a service of quietness and reflection to end the day in peace.

Maundy Thursday, falling on April 2, 2026, is the Christian holy day commemorating the Last Supper, where Jesus instituted the Eucharist and washed his disciples' feet. Known as "Holy Thursday,"

Good Friday, observed on April 3, 2026, is a solemn Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. Occurring during Holy Week, it is a day of fasting, reflection, and prayer, focusing on the sacrifice Jesus made for humanity. It precedes Easter Sunday, which celebrates his resurrection.

Tenebrae (Latin for "darkness" or "shadows") is a Christian liturgical service in Holy Week marked by the gradual extinguishing of candles, symbolizing the approaching darkness of Good Friday, ending in a strepitus (loud noise).
